Samarth Mehta, a CSU Library Student Assistant who works in Systems, made the Plain Dealer's front page when he and other Indian students performed the Bhangra, a traditional dance from Punjab in northern India, as part of the International Day festivities on November 15th. The photo appears in the November 16th issue.
The caption in the Plain Dealer reads:
"The Friends of India dance team fused traditional Indian music and dance and contemporary music in their fusion dance routine Wednesday at Cleveland State University. It was all part of CSU's International Day. Students from many countries including Albania, Germany, Hungary, India, Japan, Sweden and Turkey participated in the event, which also included ethnic food and cultural exchanges."
