Scheduled Disruption of Library Services Tuesday Morning, Aug. 1st
Due to a scheduled software upgrade services provided by SCHOLAR, the library's online catalog, will be unavailable Tuesday morning, August 1, until noon.

The Chronicle of Higher Education is now available online from anywhere on campus or off
The Chronicle of Higher Education's current issues are now available online from anywhere on campus or off. You can connect through the Library's Journal Finder or our catalog, Scholar, or go there directly with the link. You also might want to set up an RSS feed to be notified of availability of a new issue by clicking here. Older issues will continue to be available online through several of our EBSCO indexes, but current issues are embargoed for a month or so. The Chronicle is published every weekday and its Web site "features the complete contents of the latest issue; daily news and advice columns; thousands of current job listings; articles published since September 1989; vibrant discussion forums; and career-building tools such as an online CV's, salary databases, and more."

The Nance College of Business received the 2006 Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award-on display now at the CSU Library
The Nance College of Business Administration at Cleveland State University was one of 29 companies and organizations honored with the Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award ("E" Award), presented by Governor Bob Taft. The award is now on display near the entrance of the Library.
"We're very pleased to join the ranks of Ohio organizations that receive this distinguished honor," said Robert Scherer, Ph.D., SPHR, Dean of the Nance College of Business. "Over the last three years, we have strategically focused our academic and outreach efforts on international trade issues to help improve the economy of our state. We're delighted that our programs have generated such a positive response from both the business community and our students."

Blackboard Upgrade May Disrupt Library Services Thurs. Morning, July 13th
Due to an upgrade to the Envision server starting at 8:00 am Thursday, July 13th by IS & T, all Blackboard devices will be off line during this upgrade. This may briefly disrupt printing & copying services using VikingCards in the Library.
