Library hours during Intersession

During intersession, the Library will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. We will also be closed on Monday December 26th and Monday January 2nd. Click here for more information.

The HUGE Record Sale has been extended

The Friends of the Cleveland State University Library will continue their amazing vinyl record sale throughout the month of December. Browse through more than 5,000 LPs, mostly classical, that date from the mid-1950s to the mid-1980s. Major labels include Mercury Living Presence, RCA Red Seal (Shaded Dogs), Columbia Masterworks, and Philips. Records will sell for $1 each. The sale is located in Rhodes Tower, on the first floor of the Library, near the Circulation Desk.

Check out popular reading materials courtesy of CPL at the CSU Library

Now that the semester is winding down, how about reading some books just for fun. The Library, located in Rhodes Tower, has many of the current popular fiction and non-fiction books, courtesy of the Cleveland Public Library, available for checkout. These materials can be checked out using the Cleveland Greater Access Library Card. If you do not have one, you may apply for one at the Circulation Desk. Call (216) 687-2479 for more information.

Going Away From Campus for the Holidays? OhioLINK Delivers.

Going away from campus for the holidays and still need research materials? No problem. You can always pick up your OhioLINK books at any participating OhioLINK library, including two public libraries: Cuyahoga County Public Library and Westerville Public library.

Here's how:
1. Request an item from the OhioLINK Library Catalog.
2. Select your institution. Enter your name and ID.
3. Select a pickup institution from the list.
4. Select a pickup location at the pickup institution.


You'll need to take your Viking card with you when you pick up your requested materials.

If you're going out of the state for the holidays, remember you still have access to more than 100 research databases, thousands of full text articles, 18,000+ e-books, 1,500 digital videos and much more from OhioLINK and your library. All you need is your name and ID information to access OhioLINK online anywhere, anytime.

Extended Library Hours Before Finals Week

The University Library will have extended hours before finals week. The library will be open until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 9th and Sunday, December 11th.

Starting at 5 p.m. there will be free coffee while supplies last.
